#161 Messaging is About Being a Messenger, Not Wordsmithing

The most common question I get is “Can you help me create a dialed-in elevator pitch?”

That’s because at the first mention of “messaging,” people often think we’re talking about wordsmithing

It’s not about getting the words right. It’s about being a Messenger.

Yes, clear, connected messaging is important for people to understand the impact of your work and know if it’s for them.

But that’s not your primary job. (You can hire a copywriter for that, wink wink.) Your primary job is to be the Messenger and deliver the message.

In episode 161, we talk about how the most powerful thing you can do for your message is to make the shift from messaging to Messenger.

Listen in.

Deeper support from me:

  • In this time of quarantines, your online messaging is key. As a Copywriter + Messaging Expert, I craft copy that makes your dream clients feel SEEN and conveys the true value and impact of your work so that it moves them to sign up. Interested? I’d love to chat.

Have you ever gotten hung up on wordsmithing something? Let me know in the comments over on Instagram.

Warmth,
Adria
