WHY GATHER?
There’s a fire being tended.
Around it — others like you. People who’ve spent most of their lives feeling like the only one like them in the room. Translating themselves. Managing how they land. Leaving tired in a way that’s hard to explain.
By the Fire is where you put that down.
It’s a circle where you hear someone else name the thing you thought only you carried. Where a journaling prompt unlocks something you didn’t know was waiting. Where you get to just… be, without the effort of making yourself legible to everyone else.
We were never the only ones. Not in this room. And not across time.
Come sit with us.
What the hour looks like:
Settle in and get cozy — candle, blanket, beverage, whatever your system needs
A grounding moment together to actually arrive
Two or three journal prompts to drop into — including one that reaches back into your lineage
A circle to hear and be heard, in our cozy cocoon of kin
A gentle close
No prep needed. Nothing to bring other than a journal. Nothing to perform.
Sharing encouraged but never required. No recording. No right way to show up. We’re giving ourselves a spacious 90 minutes so nothing feels rushed (but it’s okay if you need to pop out a bit early).
This season:
By the Fire runs monthly through the fall — late September, October, early December. Three circles. Come to all or just one if that’s what you’ve got space for.
For those of us who’ve never quite had a place to return to — this is designed to be that.
The same fire. Familiar faces across the season.
The particular comfort of a room that already knows you by the second time you walk in.

Who this is for:
This isn’t a support group. It’s a place to gather with your people.
What matters is that something in you recognizes this fire. That when you think about the ones who came before you — wired like you, essential in ways the world didn’t have language for — something moves.
You’re tired. Not just of masking. Of never being in a room where you don’t have to translate the deepest parts of yourself.
By the Fire is for AuDHD women and nonbinary folks who are ready for that room.
No explaining yourself. No softening your edges.
No translating who you are into something more comfortable for everybody else.
Just the fire, and your people gathered around it.
